They are called cleat and jersey chasers for a reason

The shooting death of former Tennessee Titan and Baltimore Raven QB Steve McNair, has been ruled a homicide. Nashville police confirmed their ruling July 5th however they have not disclosed any more details. Why? Because this, minus the murder is very common for NFL Ballers. You know, the league that’s all about the three B’s; Broads, Blow, and Bread.

McNair was found dead with a 20 year old woman identified as Saleh Kazemi. Kazemi was a waitress at a restaurant the McNair family frequented. That’s right, the family. As mom and the kids were ordering off the junior menu, Steve was ordering right off the floor. Right in front of his family, makes you wonder how great of a guy he really was who was nominated for the “nfl man of the year award.” The same award named for Walter Payton, the brave man who lost his life to cancer and dedicated himself to his community. The same award Eugene Robinson accepted the morning before he was busted getting a little oral service from a Miami street walker the night before his Falcons played the Broncos. Memo to the NFL higher ups, you might want to tweak the criteria.

All evidence points to a murder-suicide, although the Nashville Police Department has yet to confirm or deny the assumption. McNair was shot four times, the fatal shot being the fourth. Guess it took an expert to determine that. Kazemi died of a single bullet wound to the head, the 9mm pistol used to kill them both was found below her. Apparently a gun she just went out and purchased.

It is confirmed that McNair was having an extra-marital affair with Kazemi at the time of their death. The likely cause of the event was an argument between the two, probably over the fact he wouldn’t leave his wife or family. The likely scenario that led to the argument was most likely McNair ending the relationship between the two. Kazemi took it the wrong way, then shot McNair, and took her own life shortly. Let’s be honest, McNair, beloved in that community, was screwing around with a 20 year old for his own personal enjoyment. It had to end, right. But this way??

It’s always been accepted in the sports world that guys have girls on the side, and those girls don’t care. After all, most get cars, apartments, free trips, spa treatments, cash and gifts any time they want. And for the players, it’s a boost to their ego. They are called cleat and jersey chasers for a reason, and most of these guys are thinking with you know what first. These athletes have to realize very quickly that these girls prey on guys like this all the time, get pregnant on purpose, extort their reputations, and could care less if they are married or have a family. And the athletes have to realize these girls aren’t with them because they like long walks on the beach and like to cuddle. They want to be with you because you are young, rich, and famous. It’s not you, it’s the cash, and they need to wake up.

However likely, this is only a theory, and the scenario could have been different than a murder-suicide or just different circumstances. All we can do is hope that a lot of these athletes realize what can happen if you choose the wrong, available piece on the side, your life can depend on it as we can clearly see.
